Juniper Networks announced that it is positioned by Gartner, Inc. in the Leaders quadrant of the 2018 Magic Quadrant for Data Center Networking.
Rami Rahim, CEO of Juniper Networks, responded to the recognition by Gartner saying that: "Being recognized by Gartner as a Leader in the Magic Quadrant for Data Center Networking is a testament to the success of Juniper Networks’ vision and strategy."
Data Centre Networking and simplifying multi-cloud migrations
With Juniper Networks' focus on engineering simplicity, the Juniper Networks CEO said that “Juniper has the breadth and depth of portfolio to solve enterprise needs from the data centre to branch, from hardware to software, from routing and switching to security and from transport to orchestration. Our multi-cloud-ready solutions are enabling our customers to simplify their migration to multi-cloud environments.”
Avoiding unnecessary vendor lock-in
Juniper recently announced enhancements to its Contrail Enterprise Multicloud solution to enable end-to-end policy and control capability. It's suitable for any workload running in physical and virtual environments, any cloud and across multivendor environments. Because it's based on open interfaces and standard protocols, Contrail Enterprise Multicloud can be inserted into diverse networking environments. This allows enterprises to avoid unnecessary vendor lock-in.
